Some pictures are only worth a few words...

I save pictures that speak to me & they're often the inspiration for an entire post.
These are some that weren't "whole post" worthy, but still needed to be addressed in my opinion.

& They are OH SO random.
Make friends with them,
invite them over for lunch,
give them a split heart BFF necklace...
or glance at them and give them the stink eye.
That's all on you :)

If tattoos only lasted five years.
When is someone going to finally invent my 3-5 year disappearing tattoo ink? I have a love for beautiful tattoos, but I also have commitment issues with them
I love donuts with sprinkles, but if I'm handed one with these long sprinkles instead of non-perils
(tiny little balls...ha, I just said that!), I want to scream, "NO, NO, NO! Why would you do this? Ughhhhh I hate my life. Gah." 15 year old girl style. Instead, I just knock them all off and eat the rest.
That's what I'm talkin' bout.I was going to join in on a Wishful Wednesday a few weeks ago & I don't know...
fell asleep? forgot? was too lazy?
but it was about wedding dresses & here's one I think is lovely & perfectly Laceylike.
At this point, I don't remember who makes this or anything about it...
but it's gorgeous, right?
This is one of the coolest gifts my best friend has ever given me.
Yeah, Jesus has a sense of humor! I will rummage for a pen in my drawer and when I pull out one with Jesus on it, I always say, "Well hey there, Jesus!" or, "Look at you, all high and mighty!" Hahaha, gives me the giggles. I like to think it gives Jesus the giggles too.A facebook friend posted this snapshot after we won & I just liked it.
I printed it out :) We all become very attached to our news personalities, right?
I remember when we were evacuated for Hurricane Katrina, we were stuck in Jackson, MS for a week and once the power came back on and we could watch news coverage, I missed my news people. I wanted to hear the (bad)news from people who I trusted and watched every night. People who lived in New Orleans & knew what they were talking about when it came to "home".
At some point, I was starting to doze off(sleep was a hard thing to come by that week) and I heard a familiar voice... it was one of our weather girls! She had also been evacuated to Jackson & was working with their station for the time being. It made me smile & for just a moment, I felt better. It's funny how we can become so attached...

That'll be all for my randomness today!
Oh & have you heard?!?!

  8. I used to love the sprinkled donuts when I was younger. The ones with the long sprinkles tho. I can't eat them anymore. My daughter however, LOVES donuts so my husband and I took her to get one one day, grabbing one for ourselves and yep, it reminded us of why we don't eat them. LOL! Too sugary. I will eat the Dolly Madison chocolate ones. The little round ones at the grocery store. YUM!

    Have a great day :O)

  14. Totally with you on the disappearing tattoo ink. I have one tattoo, but I would love more..I just can't think of anything else I want on me forever! But 3-5 years would be okay :)

  15. I couldn't agree with you more on local newscasters. I loved the Boston staff, and now that I'm in Rhode Island, it's just not the same. They seem so flaky to me.

That wedding dress is gorgeous. I think it would look stunning on you, Lacey. Good pick!

  16. Yay for friday!
I TOTALLY agree with your tattoo commitment problems! I love them, but don't want one forever. I'd just like a trial one. Or one like that level-2 hair dye - comes off with 24 washes. :)

  18. I can't stand those long sprinkles either!! Ugh! And I am with you on the tattoo ink. Sign me up when it can disappear! LOL!

  19. seriously, why haven't they invented that kind of tattoo yet?! BEST IDEA EVER!

  20. Oh my Lacey... You crack me up!

I have 4 tattoos and I figure, if you get something that really means something to you, you won't have commitment issues anymore. However, I'm sure someone will invent a way to make an ink like that someday. Lol

I hate sprinkles on my doughnuts. Too messy! I love me a vanilla puddin filled long john... Yuuuum!

Hate to say it, but I wish it coulda been my vikings... Def a sad day in my world.

P.S. They make glow in the dark ink... That would be kinda temporary bc you would only see it sometimes! :)

  21. I LOVE that tattoo....but you know how I feel about them. Kind of obsessed. =)

I like that they last forever....they are always there to remind you of that one time.

    And not at band camp.
