I fancy myself a bit of a poet. I'm kind of a romantic & have been known to write a mean love note/birthday card/thinking of you letter... you get me. I'm much better at writing my feelings than I am at speaking them. I find that the words that hit home the hardest are linked together simply. They are not complex. They do not make you wonder what the writer was thinking. They make you FEEL something.

ReplyDeleteI didn't think I was good with the written word, but then I realized I'm also not good with the spoken word. LOL So I started writing to my Hubby when I was angry with him...sometimes I would give it to him, sometimes I wouldn't. But nearly always, the letter went from "I'm upset....to I'm okay" by the time it was complete. I always find that interesting.
